What if I'm too sick? What if I'm too old? What if I'm too tired? Where did all of these "what ifs" come from? Why are they here in you if in fact they are?

That may sound critical, which is supposedly "bad", or rude. It really isn't meant to be. You simply know you have to work out but are afraid to do it..Why? What is so awful about sustained disciplined motion for an hour period? Where is the problem with this? (By the way, you should invest some quiet time getting YOUR answer to do this question. Then it will lose it's p[over you.)

I believe that people today, the Normal Majority, that is, only trust R&R. That's what "Common Sense" demands. Thus that's what we believe. One of my doctor's is like this. He actually starts to think that I am doing something bad for myself with exercise every time that I get a symptom which he's been trained to treat. He actually thinks that I did something to cause a problem for myself by working out--something which exercise ultimately eliminates or cures!

To put your mind to rest (and mine), my minor complaints go away without drugs. What is unforgivable, perhaps, is that I call and ask what they are instead of just riding them out. The last time I did this, I ended up getting an ultra-sound test, which, of course turned up negative. My veins (which it monitors) turned out to be as free-flowing as a mountain stream--something which came as no surprise to me and the person who administered the test.

But I should get back to the question at hand, namely what if you are too sick? The answer is get better and then go workout or go workout to get yourself better. Actually I prefer the latter as I think that exercise, not R&R, is the magic cure-all for most of our common ailments.

But maybe you really are too sick to do this. OK, go get a diagnosis and some anti-biotics. (I may be a bit of a doctor-basher, but I'm not adverse EVERY wonder of modern science)Then get to the club, not later, but sooner.
