It has a big screen, you can watch movies, have your pictures on it, also with this version 3000 you can use skype with it. It has a build-in mic. Great video game console!!!!...

Had the orginal and this one is much lighter than that one still wish there was a right analog stick. battery life is great.

Again Sony has taken another outstanding product and made it better. This system now has a microphone so now you can use Skype and not have to purchase additional equipment. I have not tried the microphone out but just the fact that they put it on the system shows that Sony listning to there customers.
Being in the Military we have a lot of down time and this is part of my equipment that goes with me. It is something to pass the time and the face that I can put music on it makes it even better. Plus you may also purchace movies that aree UMD and watch them on the PSP. Thank again Sony for making a AWSOME product!!

Currently a 13 year old xbox 360 owner, i really enjoy playing games on my weekend and after school. when i heard that many people like the psp, i gave it a try and got introduced to the new psp 3000 and as my first psp, i was amazed. sony has a history of great definition, and the psp and its games bring the power of gaming to the portable system. to me the psp 3000 is the best portable gaming console, think about it for a second, can you think of any portable console that plays gta liberty city stories? with the best games at a low price you could buy the games for only [...], like i bought gta. so ill give it a solid 5 stars, for the grapics, and so i dont need to buy a cellphone, the psp 3000 comes with skype, a cellphone device included in the update. BUY A PSP 3000 OVER A PSP GO, GO READ THE REVIEWS FROM THE PSP GO, MOST PEOPLE ARE ANGY THAT THEY CANT PLAY UMD GAMES ANYMORE!!!

over my first impression is that its super light and probably wont be durable if you drop it so many times. other than that im happy with the purchase im using as a music player and a console. my only disappointment would be it did not come with transfer cable and that would be another thing to buy.
