There are so many flat screen TV's on the market that it can be overwhelming to choose the best one to buy. Would it help if you had a list of the Best Flat Screen TV's to help narrow the process?
There are a few things that you should consider before buying. You'll need
to pinpoint which features are most important to you so the shopping
process will be easier.
Most people would agree that screen
size and picture quality are most important. LCD TV's are generally more
reasonably priced than Plasma and will give you the picture quality
that you want.
First you need to decide what size screen you
want. If you're looking for a new TV for a small room you'll want to
stay with screens under 40" so they don't overpower your room. If
you're looking for something that will give you a great home theatre
experience then you'll want to look at those that are 40" or larger.
Contrast
Ratio and Pixel Resolution are good indicators of how well the TV will
perform. The higher the contrast ratio and pixel resolution, the
clearer and sharper the picture will be. If it's in your budget, the
best you can get will have 1080p resolution with 10,000:1 contrast
ratio.
If you're a big sports fan or watch a lot of action
movies, you want to be sure that the TV has some sort of ActionMotion
or MotionFlow feature that will minimize motion blur.
One other
thing to keep in mind is that the a lot of the newer DVD's on the
market use HDMI connectivity so you'll want to be sure that your flat
screen TV has that feature. Models with HDAVI features generally give
you more options for your home theater systems.
