Presentation is the Key - Are you
gonna sell beats? songs? ringtones? samples? videos? Regardless of
which one it is, the product has to look good for people to be
interested in it. So before you start selling, a good thing to do is
create images for all your products. Then start building descriptions
for each product. The descriptions don't have to be too long, but they
should have as much information about your product as possible.
SELLING YOUR OWN DOWNLOADS:
If you produce, rap, make videos or make your own samples, here are some sites you should host your files at ASAP:
Tradebit
- Popular download site selling 2 million downloads a day. It took me
about 20 hours to get my first sale after joining! Fast & reliable
service, I have never had a problem with this company. Producers sell
your beats, samples or loops here! Emcees sell your mixtapes, singles
or ringtones here!
There are a few monthly payment plans
you can choose from depending on how much space you need to host your
files, Since I have over 5 gigs of samples for sale, I chose to go with
the No costs except 15% sales fee
option which gives you 999mb of space for your files. With this option
you get paid bi-weekly (thru paypal) and they take their 15% out before
they pay you - which I like since you're not stuck paying fees at the
end of each month. If you don't need over 5 gigs of space, I suggest
going with their monthly plans which are very inexpensive (under $10).
This
is a high traffic site so if you have good content the hits will come
easy. Make sure you have quality detailed ads explaining everything
about your items and a good picture.
They also offer an
Affiliate Program so you can set your your commission and make money
having other people promote your products.

Payloadz
- Payloadz is another popular site similar to tradebit where you can
host & sell your beats, samples, loops, tutorials, ebooks, videos
& any other digital item you can think of!
The plans are a
more expensive on this site, but like tradebit, they have the option of
paying 15% of your monthly sales (The Premium Merchant Account). This
is good for people selling under $1000 a month, but once you start
selling more than that, It would be cheaper to switch to a Corporate
Account.
A plus to selling on Payloadz
is that you are paid thru paypal the instant someone purchases your
product. The only downside is that the 15% monthly seller's fee is NOT
automatically taken out of your funds, so you'll have to keep track of
what you made & make sure you have the money in there on the due
date, which is 30 days from sign-up.
They also have an
affiliate program so you can assign a commission for each product you
want other people to sell for you. Again, the commission is not
automatically taken out, but you can choose to have the funds
automatically taken out of your account monthly to pay your affiliates
(which I recommend) or pay them yourself monthly.
Put
together a good ad with an eye catching image & quality content and
you will not only make money selling on their site, but from affiliates
selling for you on other sites. They also give you buy it now buttons
so you can sell on your own sites.

Clickbank - The best site hands down to find affiliates. ClickBank
has over 100,000 affiliates who are ready to promote digital products!
Create a good sales page & you will easily make serious money. You
can sell pretty much any digital item here as long as you own the
rights to it.
They pay by check on twice a month & I have always been paid on time, with every check being bigger than the last!
There
is a $49.95 fee for each product you want to sell but its well worth it
as you can have hundreds or thousands of people selling for you.
I
only recommend this site after you've had some experience selling on
the other sites and have mastered making quality ads. For ClickBank,
you must have your own website with a sales page, a thank you page
(displayed after the sale is complete) & an affiliate page with
promotional tools (banners,keywords,ads,etc).
For the People Who Don't Want To Make Products:
Sell
for other people & make affiliate commissions. You can go to any of
the 3 sites listed above & sign up as an affiliate. After you sign
up, just search for the keyword of the products you are interested in
selling.
Ex: Music, Rap Beats, Hip Hop, Guitar, FL Studio, Etc.,
