"nintendo wii console"2009-11-03
By Mickey Lee (Morgan hill, Ca USA)
The Nintendo Wii console is great! Very compact and requires minimal space. It is white and fits right in every decoration scheme. The remote and nunchuk controllers that comes with the console are also lightweight and easy to use.

I've been wanting this for awhile but for some reason I always put it off. When the price dropped I finally stopped procrastinating and bought one. I'm glad I did. this system is great. Easy to hook up and play. The included sports game is great and easy to use. I would recommend this product to anyone.
"Wii Well Worth the Price!"2009-11-02
By S. Amick (West Virginia, USA)
We had been waiting to purchase a Wii for some time and so when the prices dropped and Amazon offered free shipping and a $25 gift card toward the purchase of another Wii product, we had to order! We absolutely love it! However, I am still awaiting arrival of that $25 gift card! Hopefully it will arrive soon. We plan to purchase the Wii Fit Plus with it. Cannot wait! You really do get a work out with this unit just playing the simple games that come with it so we really want the Wii Fit to get in shape and lose weight over the winter months. Plus, it's just plain fun! The whole family can use this product it's so simple! I highly recommend one to everyone!
I just want to add to the review of yesterday that, while we love are Wii and have no complaints about it, I do have a problem with Amazon and the way they do business! When I purchased the Wii I was of the understanding, by their description, I would receive a $25 gift card as described above. It sounded as though it was an automatic receipt, no instructions were included how to obtain it. After waiting over 2 weeks I contacted them to find that apparently I must enter a promo code, which I did not have, and set it as a "purchase" in order to obtain the gift card! Well Amazon can keep their gift card, I want my Wii Fit now! That being said, I will simply go to Wal Mart and purchase it since I was going to have to purchase it with a credit card anyway! Way to go Amazon!
"Family Fun!"2009-11-02
By Doug
If I was buying just for me, I might choose a PS3 and get the Blu-Ray player. However, I have young kids (7 and 3) and the number of games the Wii offers for kids, compared to the PS3, is unbelievable. If you have young kids and are buying something with them in mind, do them a favor and get the Wii. Of course, the demos for the PS3 wand (you can see on Youtube) make me think that will blow away the Wii. But, with no pricing on the wand available yet, no idea whether they will start marketing more games for the kids or not, I am still thinking the Wii is the best family choice.

This is the first video game we have ever had, it's fun, but you may want to buy extra games, Wii Sports gets kinda blaa after a while, also, you will want the Wii Charge Station, Power runs out fast! Tennis is fun, I would let anyone from ages 5-100 years to play it, Golf...well...it's hard, maybe only 15-100 year olds will want to play it without getting mad at it!! Baseball is also a little on the hard side, hitting the ball is hard...ages 8-100years, Bowling ALL AGES!!! Fun, easy, etc. Creating a "Mi" for yourself is also fun, we made one that looks JUST LIKE our dad! In fact, all my brother likes to do on Wii is make "Mi"s!
