Manual Transmissions fail due to abuse, lack of maintenance, and plain old wear-and-tear. When a transmission fails it is always expensive. Let us soften the blow by providing expert, in house repair expertise and affordable labor rates.
Automatic Transmissions have many complex parts that must all work together perfectly. When these parts fail you will usually have warnings. One of them is dark transmission fluid. Another is a performance problem. Instead of a smooth, powerful transition from a standing top to highway speed, there may be slipping or interruptions in acceleration.
Note Check engine light doesn't always mean there is a problem with the engine. It could be your transmission.

Transmissions will fail when parts grind together because of overheating or failure. In today's cars, there maybe an electronic component that controls your automatic transmission which needs replacement or adjustment. A fluid leak can cause malfunctions in operation because of overheating and lack of viscosity for gears to function.
Any symptoms noted above must be addressed immediately to forestall progressive damage to the inner parts which could result in disassembly and rebuilding, an expensive process.
Here is the process of a "do it right the first time" transmission rebuild:
1. Drive and Check which includes:
Road Test
External Inspection for Leaks
Check Bands & Linkage for adjustments
Check Modulator & Mounts (If so equipped)
2. Diagnose & Service:
New Pan Gasket & Fluid
Clean Screen
Adjust linkage where applicable
Install Filter
Estimate of further work if needed, and contact you to discuss options.
3.Disassemble
Remove dismantle & inspect
Tear down inspection
re-assemble
Install Rebuilt Torque converter (Warranty from Supplier)
Install Automatic Transmission rebuild kit
Install Manual Transmission rebuild kit
New Fluid
4.Deliver
Usual turnaround varies with model and parts availabilty as well as any modificatons you may want for your Transmission.
