Skin Problems?

Since our skin is the largest and most visible organ of our body when something goes wrong, everyone knows it. When an individual with a skin disorder is out in public, the reaction of people are not always kind.

In the case of my husband who suffers from ichthyosis, he was accused of not bathing daily. This was due to the dark dry scaly skin that would normally reside on his upper arms. Of course growing up with this condition left him ridiculed by the kids he went to school with.
