Because you cannot answer every call while you are driving, you must depend on voicemail. What do you do when one of your customers leaves a message that simply states his/her name with a number?
You may have more than one client with the same first name and you can't place the number? Is this an urgent follow-up call or something that can be taken care of a little later? Is this something pertaining to one of the sales calls I am making today?
Consider using a reverse directory to jog your memory. You may not always be able to get in touch with your assistant in real time or access the company database while on the road. You can search the internet via your cell phone and do a search on a reverse phone directory immediately.
It could be a very useful tool.
