Bible Jesus-God's Love Yesterday, Today & Forever

God Quotes
There are numerous strategies that God enters into judgment with both people and whole countries. There's just one reason why he enters into judgment and that's rampant immorality and sin. The states have followed the same trail as traditional Israel. Like Israel they sought God for a time, but when they were secure and full they started backsliding into each possible sin.
God then sent soothsayers, evangelists and messengers of each kind and outline. If their alerts went unnoticed, which they went and did mostly the judgments given by the messengers came against them. A microcosmic example of this in our fresh past would be what occurred following the eradication of the Twin Towers in NY on nine eleven.

10 Commandments
We were taught the ten commandments at a particularly early age.
In fact the ten commandments have played such a huge role in my life I can't remember when I learned them. I remember having to learn them for Sun. school, but that was more attempting to remember what order the 10 commandments came in instead of learning what they were.
Bible JesusAs the ten commandments have been part of my life since I used to be a tiny kid, I've not spent much time reflecting on them.
I have spent more time contemplating them latterly because of the media attention of having the ten commandments displayed in public buildings. I had to stop and reflect if I'd accepted something that might be offensive because it's always been part of my life.
I have to confess that attempting to recall the ten commandments in order was a real memory exercise. I discussed this to my husband and he couldn't see why being in a specific order made any difference. I assumed he had a valid point, that it didn't really count what order I placed them in or what precise wording I used to recollect them, it was actually the idea behind every one of the ten commandments that was the message we are to take to heart.
After brooding about each of the ten commandments I have decided that for me they don't seem to be offensive. I wouldn't feel discriminated against or violated in any way seeing them in print. The message with each one of them is clear to me and generally I feel they out line a respectable and polite way to conduct my life. I respect others ideology and accept that not everybody has the same set of ideology that I have.
Actually I suspect life would be uninteresting if we probably did all believe the same and had the same ideology. Though I comprehend that we aren't all from the same belief system, I continue to cannot see why somebody would be shocked by seeing the ten commandments in print. If I find something offensive I try to have a look at something that is more interesting to me. We don't all need to believe similar things and to co-exist, we don't even need to grasp each others ideology, we just need to learn toleration. I have already told you order does not matter.
