Mocha is a very sweet 16 year old sorrel QH gelding for sale. He is about 15.3 hands and very handsome. I have owned Mocha for 9 years and during that time he has never thrown me. I have done endurance, huntseat, jumping, competitive trail and western pleasure on him. He is a great trail horse and crosses creeks and bridges with ease. I have been giving lessons on him the past two years including therapeutic lessons. He has gone to horse shows with young kids and done very well for them. He is not a speed event horse and prefers to take it easy most of the time. He will go when you tell him to without a fuss, but prefers walking and jogging on the trails. Mocha has had a lot of ground work training including the Parelli 7 games, and Ed Dabney's Six Keys to Harmony. I can ride hime bareback and bridless in the ring or in the pasture. He is an easy keeper for the most part, but needs extra groceries and a blanket during the winter. He is a little stiff in his hips and back legs, but never lame. Because of this I think he would be best sutied for lighter riding, a child or an adult who does not have to gallop on the trails all of the time. I will only sell him to a lasting home because he has erned the best for everything he has accomplished. Mocha stands tied for hours, trailers, and is great for the farrier and the vet. He is shod in the front and barefoot in the back and he is up to date on all shots and neg coggins. I am only selling him because at this point in my life I do not have the finances to have a horse that I never get to ride. I am too busy riding and training other people's horses to make time for my own horse. Mocha is my baby and must find a good home and someone to love him as much as I do.
