Body off frame project car that is about 75% complete. Frame stripped, prepped and painted. All new suspension components to include: Ball joints, tie rods, front springs, shocks, Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings throughout (Front and Rear), new steering cylinder and proportioning valve,Rebuilt trailing arms, all new U-Joints in driveshaft and halfshafts, New brake lines with new stainless clips, Braided steel brake hoses, all new calipers and pads, new master cylinder, new e-brake cables and stainless hardware. Completely rebuilt Muncy 4 speed with Hurst competition plus short shifter and all new shift rods and bushings.
New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. New Z-bar with new clutch rods, bushings and springs. Engine is a 5.7 LT1 from a 1993 Camaro Z28 with approximately 31,000 miles. Engine was stripped, (intake, heads, and pan off) and inspected, and reassembled with new oil pump, timing chain, and gaskets. New optispark distributor, (have spare), and new wires. New GM alternator, new radiator overflow tank, new fan motor. Tubular exhaust manifolds are from a 1982 cross fire injection motor. It has new mufflers, but needs exhaust piping from front to rear. (It has pipes on it now but they are the wrong ones, and the mufflers are not straight.) Engine control unit is wired in including diagnostic plug below the dash, and is located below the heater motor. E-prom reprogrammed by TPI Specialties. All of the LT1 controls and emissions were retained including fuel pump relay, Electric air pump and dual electric fans mounted on a professionally modified radiator with LT1 reverse flow inputs.
External electric fuel pump with all braided steel lines. All new polyurethane engine, trans, and body mounts. New Ecklers inner wheelwells, front and rear bumpers,(rear is 80 style with integrated spoiler), and new full front end with new valance. All new weather strip for doors, hood and T-tops. Also have new body rocker ground effects and spoiler. Body has never had any rust in the usual areas such as the birdcage and firewall areas. The intended color was corvette yellow and the underside, firewall, inner fenders, and underside of hood are all painted. Rebuilt headlight assemblies. All glass is intact and in excellent condition. Original aluminum wheels, highly polished and in excellent shape. What’s left on this car is to finish the body prep and paint, and to install the interior. The doors are disassembled.(Have all parts). owner have most of the interior parts including the seats, console and most of the plastic. Needs Carpet, and owner does not have any of the rear glove box doors or frames. Black interior, the dash and column are in excellent shape.
