Jean Picart le Doux (French, 1902-1982)

Known as one of the most prolific tapestry designers of the 20th Century, Picart le Doux worked closely with Jean Lurçat. Works are highly collectible and have graced the walls of Ocean liners of the Art Moderne Era.

The tapestry measures 5' long by 3' 5" high.

There is discoloration at the right bottom as well as a couple of small discolorations at the top right. Overall, the tapestry is a great item.
