Construction: The house is built on what is called a “Seismic” foundation. The seismic foundation which supports a cement block house with a “M2” (Styrofoam) base and walls. This “M2” material gives excellent protection from Humidity, is quieter than cement, Excellent insulation. The colors are all light and were chosen to help keep the house cool. The paints are also all anti-mold (inside and outside). The roof material is designed to appear as a tile – but has better life expectancy. The roof is installed with all stainless steel screws and the sealed to protect the screw tops from bird damage and rust. All outside light fixtures are plastic to prevent salt water corrosion and rust. The fans are all Hunter brand and are Nickel plated to help prevent rust. All of the cabinetry is custom built and uses a wood called CEDRO (a cedar). This particular wood can tolerate the high humidity. The window screens are all placed on the outside so that they are easier to clean. There are two security cameras located so that of you have guests you can see (on your computer) who is at the door. All light bulbs are Fluorescent.
