each hook is a little different and varies in actual size.
The 2" hook has a 3/4" eye, fits over a 1/2" dowel
The 3" hook has a 1" eye, ---- 3/4" dowel
The 4" hook has a 1-1/4" eye, ---- 1" dowel
The 6" hook has a 1-1/2" eye, ---- 1 1/4" dowel
The 8" hook has a 1-3/4" eye, ---- 1 1/2" dowel
