K2 Men's Turbo Dream Wide Snowboard
Created in wider widths to accommodate boot sizes 10 and up, the K2 Men's Turbo Dream Wide snowboard is the alpine equivalent to one of those Swiss army all-in-one knives: It offers a killer combo of freestyle features, all-terrain rocker and an extra dollop of powder floatation.
The Turbo Dream Wide is the only snowboard offered by K2 that has their unique All-terrain Rocker technology. It's the most versatile rockered board shape for varied snow surfaces and offers exceptional float characteristics in powder. No matter which size you choose you'll be amazed at the lightweight heft, but the Turbo Dream is also extremely durable.
It's made with the K2 WH3 core. It's a performance wood core with two strips of urethane-skinned honeycomb (K2 spells it HoneyKomb because it doesn't have that deadening "tin can" feel of traditional honeycomb materials in snowborads that reinforces the board while acting as a dampener to reduce unsettling vibrations. The WH3 still uses wood on the tip, tail and rail areas, but the K2 HoneyKomb is on the lower core section where vibrations tend to proliferate on other snowboards.
The Turbo Dream Wide features K2's Hybritaper Tip technology, which features a thin sidewall design and a tapered core along the tip and tail for reduced swing weight. Everything is wrapped in a triaxial braided fiberglass that stiffens and reinforces the core while improving the overall edge hold. Carbon Matrix I torsion fork inserts along the edges of the snowboard create optimized contact points along the snow, resulting in amazing power transmission and improved torsional stability.
Beneath everything is K2's 4000 sintered base, made from the fastest natural base material available. It's a durable base material that quickly absorbs wax, but what makes the 4000 great is the fact that it retains wax for a long time, so you'll spend more time riding and less time tuning.
