Do you still have your first electric shaver? Get this, I still have my first shaver and I had bought that one years ago. Somehow the thing is still working. While it's not the best idea in the world, I've only cleaned mine maybe once or twice a year. Oops. I still can get a pretty decent shave when I do pick it up to use it. One day while shopping with my wife I noticed that the new electric shavers on the market have a bunch of nifty features that my old one doesn't. For example, there's a shaver with a vibrating head that's suppose to condition the skin to lift the hair for its blades to reach them. Without a doubt I know my outdated shaver won't do that in any way. For someone like me who rarely cleans their shaver, most shavers today have a self cleaning feature built into them. Having run out of the cleaning solution for my rotary blades, I stopped cleaning my electric shaver a long time ago. New shavers have rotating heads the flex and glide over the contours of your neck and face. Some are ergonomically shaped for what appears to be a comfortable grip. My now retired shaver couldn't do anything like that. Most of the electric shavers on the market now are small and rechargeable. Mine had a long cord that held you to the wall at all times. With all of these things in mind I thought it was about time for me to retire the old shaver. It didn't have any of the new features that are out there. Don't you think that replacing your old shaver is a wise investment of your time and money considering what's available with the new models?
