Got this for my 3yr old son. Those who are not sure about the size believe me, it's big. For us this will be big enough for a couple of years for sure.
The assembly takes time so be prepared. Otherwise no problems. Your kid(s) will love it. You can also buy attachments later to make it even more fun.

As stated in the other reviews, the assembly directions are very poor. However, just go to www.kettler.com and watch the tutorial on how to assemble the tractor/loader/backhoe and how to use it. This toy is sturdy plastic, better than sharp, hard metal that can get too hot in the sun or can have cutting edges. It works realistically and will make any little tractor lover crazily happy. We were also missing parts, the two front wheel covers. The company quickly replaced them and our little guy was ready to roll. Well worth the cost, check ebay over amazon for price comparison, just look for companies with 99-100% ratings, don't buy from low rated sellers, you could regret it.

We bought this product for my 4 year old as a Chrsitmas present for under the tree. Good thing I ordered early as it was missing parts. Not bad to put together, just take your time. As per the parts I did have to get the US parts number as the only one that came with the tractor was Germany's. As per the product, it is sturdy and my son LOVES it.
