"I Would Have Wanted It"2009-10-13

Got this front loader for my grandchildren who were coming to visit. While either grandchild could have this, I bought it with my 3 year old grand son in mind. Took a little while to assemble (maybe 3 hours, the instructions are poor and I made a mistake in the earliest stage and had the front wheel bracket facing the wrong way so had to find a way to press off one of the wheel hubs to turn the bracket around). When done it looks great, the bucket lifts and dumps, trailer car connects easily. I also got a kettler classic flyer car with my 6 year old grand daughter in mind. I had my eyes on the front loader. As expected, both grand son and grand daughter went after the front loader first - it just looks neat with functioning bucket and trailer car. It only took a few minutes, though for the 6 year old to switch to the classic flyer - it was faster, sleeker, and fit her better. My 3 year old grand son worked with the front loader for a bit longer but in the end, even he found it a bit small, and very slow. So, they both wanted to use the kettcar classic flyer and neither wanted to bother with the slow and a bit difficult to use front loader. I still think it looks great, though.

I thought this loader was fairly easy to put together and that it was a great value! We love this loader, but do wish that it has a height limit in addition to a weight limit. My 3 and a half year old is very tall for his age and we were slightly disappointed to see that he is already almost too big for it. I was able to adjust the seat back a little bit, though, and he fits okay for this summer. I will probably have to sell it by next summer. I expect I will get a good price for it, though. He and his friends love it.

My son received this tractor last Christmas and he still LOVES it. It's extremely well built, and can handle just about anything. Very durable! We live around lots of kids and they all play with it. They like to fill the shovel with rocks, and the tractor doesn't miss a beat. The trailer is held on by a small black pin, which we have already lost. That's the only downside. This tractor is amazing. I definitely recommend it!

Very sturdy, well made product. However, extremely hard to assemble, it took 2 people about 4 hours to put it together. The directions are by picture only. The parts are not labeled or described.
Also, my 2 1/2 year old has a hard time pedaling it. He knows how to pedal, but the tractor is too hard to pedal. He does love playing with it though; he likes loading, dumping & loading up the trailer. I would recommend it for 3+ years old.

I was very dissapointed in this product. First, it takes a while to assemble it then it was much smaller than the description stated. The price was tempting but even if your child is small, the moment you put the child on the seat, the plastic piece bends and touches the wheel making it almost impossible to maneuver. On cement it works great but that is not the intended use. As always, Amazon does not do a good job describing the objects it sells.
