The doors have some cancer at the bottom front, but it is repairable. There are a few dents and scratches but over all it is pretty straight. The tail gate and the area under the tail lights have some dents and the rear bumper will need to be replaced. The lower left side of the bed, just behind the cab is dented also.
It has a 260 V-8 with an Accel dual point distributor and a two speed Ford-o-matic auto transmission. The odometer shows 62,200 miles but Owner is sure it has turned over. It runs well but the transmission leaks. owner have rebuilt the carb (2 bbl), rodded out the radiator, replaced all the filters, cleaned and sealed the gas tank, replaced the battery, battery tray and cables, spark plugs, fuel sending unit and related hoses, rebuilt the heater box ( the fan motor is good but it may have a bad switch), rebuilt the brakes on all four corners, replaced the master cylinder with new dual chamber unit, new carpet, new door dome switches, and rebuilt the front suspension including new Monroe shocks on all four corners.
owner lowered the front by moving the upper control arms per Shelby spec’s and cutting a half coil out of the springs. It gives it an aggressive stance. The tires are old Firestone bias ply, but still hold air. owner used Duplicolor roll on bed liner and it came out nice.
The interior is nice, but needs to be finished. It looks like the seat has been reupholstered and the headliner has been replaced. The door panels are shot. owner cut out new ones but have not covered them. The inside of the doors need to be refurbished and the door seals need replacing. owner painted the dash and dyed the dash pad. The radio is stock. The glass is good, but the driver’s side door window, has some deep scratches. The steering column around the transmission shifter is broken but still functions. It should be fine as long as you do not do pull-ups on it. The carpet is new.
