This is very nice pro street ( street legal) & drag car on the weekends!! the transformers movie really made this black and yellow combination popular . its a real head turner and sounds incredible when fired up . the owner had sold all other cars . Chevrolet yellow with black- out mirrors and bumpers and stripes done 12 years ago and garaged ever since. was all professionally done took the shop 10 months to do. best yellow paint job owner have ever seen , no washboard effect what so ever !! the car was sand blasted then hand sanded to perfection before painted . no rust at all !! beautiful as shown !! new quarter panels were installed and fenders are original 1976 parts. front bottom valance ( spoiler ) intact no cracks which is rare !! owner have the back bottom metal valance but never installed . high rise hood that cost $800.00 alone !!! already cant list any flaws to the paint and body appearance!!! new floor panels were welded in a few years after painted and sub frame connectors welded in also . owner do have traction bars for it but never installed them . the undercarriage was also done at the same time. ( needs to be detailed again ) .... good rockers and bottom of doors are fine . just an incredible restoration job that has been preserved in owner garage . today this work alone would cost close to $8500.00 wow!! motor / trans / rear end 350 4 bolt main , bored .30 over ( basically a 383 stroker motor )sounds like a big block incredible !! around 550 horsepower !! (most as owner don’t believe its a small block!! ) . 400 steal crank, .70 lift camshaft with roller rockers , solid lifters 1.6 ratio . 11:1 compression steal rods and bearings 750 max flow ( custom built - modified ) dual line holley carb , moroso electric pump, wieand team g high rise aluminum intake , and brudex aluminum heads , 3800 stall converter , custom built 6 core radiator ( so you wont overhead idling ) nicely decorated engine compartment gold anodized valve covers and air cleaner ( oversized !!) ... with fuel pressure gauge and fogger plate set up for nos . headman powder coated headers with 3” exhaust and dumps right before the back axel . transmission is a 400 turbo custom built and guaranteed never to break !! hurst quarter stick ratchet shifter , lock-out safe nuetral and park of course . the rear end is the original with 3:73 gears owner believe and does need 4:11 gears or 4:56 to be competitive , owner never had time to put other gears in or really wanted a tough ford 9” rear end . still runs fine on the street . this motor was in a 69 camaro and only 3 passes were ever made and one was in the high 9’s and the 2 other passes were mis 10’s , just 1 run with nos that got it in the 9’s . otherwise just taken to shows and putted around town and niceee garage furniture. fuel & ignition moroso electric fuel pump , 8 gallon fuel cell , large battery in trunk ( really needs 2 with the compression , but starts fine ) . all braided lines and anodized fittings . fuel pressure gauge under hood as shown , runs great on 94 octane , racing fuel it really likes and runs best . msd coil and ignition system shown in glove box . seperate ignition switch and fuel switch and lamps switch . pro- comp auto meter liquid filled tack,oil pressure ,and temp gauge .interior custom covered original seats , yellow matches paint !! custom embroidery bumble bee making a fist , all 4 seats !! seat belts exist in working order , need a harness to race though ! new carpet , dash needs a nice sheet metal job to complete ... owner have most of the original dash that will go with the new owner of the car . owner get so many compliments on the seats !! cost me $1600.00 just for them and took him 6 months to complete , but he’s a quality guy . back dash he was going to match ( and still can for the new owner at my cost $300.00 +-) door panels are original and great shape .
