I was the Lead Operator for the graveyard shift and was responsible for maintaining all operations as well as performing all laboratory testing for plant operations and permit requirements.

The City of Rio Rancho has one Activated Sludge Plant and two Schreiber Process Plants. The City treats 10 MGD’s of Wastewater and was being operated by the private contract companies listed above. I was the Lead Operator responsible for operations, maintenance, in-house training, and meeting all permit requirements.
Village of Los Lunas - Wastewater Treatment Plant Los Lunas, New Mexico 1987-1995
I started work as a Labor, and then I was a Laboratory Technician, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent of a 0.7 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant. I was responsible for all operational functions of an Activated Sludge Treatment Plant. Duties included cleaning buildings, maintaining grounds and picking-up sludge beds, providing equipment and supplies to all employees on duty. I have also performed all laboratory tests for DMR requirements and operations. As Superintendent, I was responsible for planning budgets and working with engineers for the design of a major plant expansion.
