As a graphic designer I was hoping to get a laptop that could eventually enable me to freelance from home - i.e. run large design programs with ease. I read a comparison between Macbook and PC. The competion was a draw but that ultimately the PC nudged ahead because of affordability. I simply was able to get a great machine for so much less than a Mac. Though I hated waiting 2 weeks for my machine to arrive, I loved the options I had for customizing it!
