"4 year old's favorite toy!" 2009-09-01 By E. Mueth (USA) My son started out with the standard 12V ride-on from Toys R Us. After many many hours of use, he outgrew it. He loved riding his old one so much that I searched high and low for something that would accommodate his size. This is the perfect ride-on for the older kids. It allows up to 150 lbs, so he will not outgrow it before he simply wears it out. We've had it for 9 months, he is a CRAZY driver, and it shows no signs of wear except the tires get scuffed up. Great product!
"Poor Quality" 2009-08-09 By Product Reviewer (Louisiana) This would be a great toy if the quality was vastly improved. For $[...] I expected a lot more out of this product than was delivered. The battery only lasts about 30-45 minutes after a full charge, and the the lever switch that allows the machine to go backward and forward went out and the bike only goes in reverse now. I went to manufacturers web site looking for parts and couldn't find anything about ordering spare parts. This product is a lot of fun for the kids but it hasn't lasted very long and the overall quality is pitiful and not worth the price. We are going back to the Fisher Price riding vehicles for our kids, since you at least get what you pay for.
"great toy" 2009-07-23 By Darren J. Kissko Have a seven year old girl who just loves this quad. She rides it almost everyday. It is well built and sturdy and the battery last longer than her jeep. My forteen year old daughter also is within the 150 pound limit and hops on it once in awhile.
"Worth the extra money" 2009-06-13 By Choosy consumer (Newtown, CT) We searched several toy stores and websites for just the right 4-wheeler for our 5 year old son. Many of the models that we saw in the stores were fine, but we were concerned that he'd grow out of them quickly (too slow, battery life not long enough, too small, etc.) We came across this 4-wheeler on amazon.com and we decided to give it a try. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. My husband assembled it, charged the battery overnight, and my son was riding it by the next morning. He absolutely loves it.

It's fast, sporty, and easy to control. We have a sloped backyard and the vehicle has no problem going up and down the hills. (However, 2 cautionary items: 1.) The tires can slip/spin on wet grass. My son was driving down hill on wet grass and he couldn't stop it. 2.) The quad has a foot petal to put the vehicle in motion but it does NOT have a brake. You just take your foot off the petal to stop. But if you're going down a steep hill or on slippery terrain, you might not be able to stop quickly.)

Overall, we're very pleased with the quality of the quad. Even older kids in our neighborhood (ages 7-11) have fun riding it around the yard, so we know our son will enjoy it for a long time.
"Great ride, but not all there" 2009-05-23 By David V. Pierson (Yorktown, VA) I bought this for my 4 year old daughter as she had quickly outgrown a power wheels brand four wheeler that she was sharing with my 2 year old son. It fits her well and she has a blast on it. It comes with the major components pre-assembled. The directions were OK, but I would have liked to have had an exact count layout of the screws and hardware as what I had in the bag didn't seem to match what the directions were saying. Also, the directions did not say which screw should be installed where and there were several different sizes.

I was alos missing one small piece that holds the flag in place. I quickly remedied this with some zip-ties, but it was not present in the kit.

The final assembly only took a few hours with applying stickers another 2 hours. This should not be a problem as the battery needs an initial charge of 14 hours before riding anyway.

Overall, I give it a 4 out of 5 as my daughter loves riding it and always has a huge smile on her face.
