We did the 2-day shipping method and it was right on time. The assembly was a piece of cake, because all that needed to be assembled was the seat & seatbelt, and the battery needed to be charged. We bought him his favorite helmet, some elbow pads & knee pads, then took him to the park to ride it, we were extremely pleased. It was a perfect fit for him, he's 5 years old & I was very, very happy that the speed of the Go Kart was fast, but not too fast for him. It definitely goes a little faster than what the item described, but not so fast that we had to be concerned about him losing control. WE LOVE THIS GO KART!!!!! It was the best item we bought this year...and the price was a steal. We researched other Go Karts, we Googled, we searched E-Bay, and Amazon had what we were looking for............

Recently got one of these for my 5 year old who had been trying to get me to make his power wheels go faster. I had been researching power wheel mods, and/or building a custom cart, and weighing my options. I came across the Ground Force and thought I would use it as a base to modify from but after getting it, and spending the 20 minutes to assemble it and inspect it I decided to leave it be and good thing too.
My 5 year old is just over 3.5 ft tall and about 40 lbs. with him driving it, the thing absolutely flies and lasts for 2+ hours. The neighbors have a 9 yo boy, about 90lbs and it even has enough response for him to have fun.
The kids drive it in a cul-de-sac with driveways that are flush to the street level with just a small lip. It looks like it takes a little beating transitioning from street to sidewalk, (not dropping off a curb) but everything is holding up pretty good so far. The tires wear pretty fast, we have around 10 hours on it, and the drive wheel is wearing down much faster than the others. A tire rotation is pretty straight forward though.
Overall great buy, considering the prices we were looking at to build one, and battery operated makes it a nice quiet neighborhood option.

My two girls have a blast with these, all the other kids in the neighbor hood always want to ride them too. They are fairly fast for 7 and 9, i wouldnt recommend it for anything under 6 yrs of age though. Hand brake takes a little muscle to pull and the steering wheel design is kind of crappy and loose. But overall a good product.

Disappointed ..My 7 yr old rode it on the sidewalk only. then suddenly stopped working. We think maybe a fuse or something. Have no idea about these things. Just in our gargage taking up space..
