I'm a design student and abuse my computer fiercely with 3D modeling, AutoCad, and graphics. My classmates go for the Macbook pro, but I would highly recommend this computer as a much more affordable alternative. Having had Macs in the past, it was difficult for me to buy a PC, but aside from Vista, I haven't regretted it yet. Considering what I paid when this computer first came out and the comparable current MacPro price, this was a very sound investment. Plus, who games on a Mac anyway?
