Girls are athletes too, that compete in events with jumping involved, and they also want to know "how to jump higher" to stay on the top of their game. I came to realize this first hand from my son and his girlfriend.
A few months ago my son discovered some new training methods and brought his Basketball playing to a whole new level. Well, at first he didn't think to mention his new training program to his girlfriend, there was no reason to.
They both have their own lives, they don't live together so I don't think a different training program is top subject to them. Anyway, she was watching him play with some friends on the court when I guess she noticed his all around performance was much better.
She asked him what he's been doing for such a dramatic improvement, and he said he learned a different type of training workout. She asked him to let her in on it because she plays Volleyball, and wants to learn "how to jump higher" and get a faster.
He told her that was no problem and started to explain a few things to her, to see if she was serious about it. He said she needed to have mental energy to continue when she didn't want to. She had to set personal goals, and understand what was expected of her.
Knowledge of the correct techniques, the proper principles, and the exercises involved. The most important part was the nutritional diet. With the proper nutrition, the muscles will strengthen the way they need to.
