Nice hardware, just-right strap, gorgeous sculpted heel, as with pretty much all JS footwear. But this boot is REALLY EXTRA SUPER NOT MADE FOR WALKING. I wear heels pretty much 24/7, and have since the ubergoth glory days of yore ['84]. I'm more comfortable in a 3.75" heel than barefoot. Given a sturdy leather sole, or better yet wee mini platform.
This sole is nice and soft and flexible: no slipping or sliding is likely, even in damp new-shoe conditions. But the 4+" heel and superflexy sole mean your metatarsals are going to be way overworked, in agony and potentially danger after just a few blocks at a somewhat brisk pace.
Wear them in good health. Wear them out dancing, or perching on barstools. Wear them to work, if you sit at a desk. Wear them anywhere someone else wants to drive. Or carry. They're a little too real-live-should-age-well-boot-leather for bed, though. At $59, I'm keeping them. Newly single, I'm tempted to take them out for a stroll. But only after investing in a thicker, rigid half-sole.

I bought this pair of boots several months ago and they are one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned! You can feel the quality as soon as you put them on and I can walk around in them all day long. Definitely a must have!
