Chunky heeled pull-up boot
Your boots don't have to kill your feet in order to be killer. The Jessica Simpson Rider proves the theory when smooth, semi-gloss leather hugs your leg, leading down to a mid-rise chunky heel and sweetheart almond-shaped toe. The pull-up shaft creates a sleek silhouette, and lacing at the top back of the shaft adds a little extra texture. Finally, a slight diagonal cut to the borderline gives the look dimension and class. "Cute style but a sloppy fit"2009-02-16

The description on these boots sounds great-- glossy leather, riding cut, not-too-high heel and adjustable calf. But when I got them, the lack of a zipper made the ankle area so loose that the heavy stacked heel pulled the boot down, even when I just stood up from my chair and walked to the other room. I'm returning them.
As far as the size goes they felt pretty true to fit. The almond-shape toe was also quite attractive. A shame about the fit. Oh, one last thing, the heels are hard plastic and make very loud clunks if you have wood floors.
