He is from the CCEHC Adopt-a-Horse Program.
He is 5 years old and about 14.3-15 hands. He is register APHA (paint) and his sire "The Scotchman" is a very well know halter horse. Snickers is very sweet, love attention. He has regained all of his muscle tone and looks awesome. As far as training, He halters, lunges (knows voice commands), accepts a saddle and had people on him. He needs to be trained more, but his a good start already. He would make a great 4-h project for an older child.
When we got him, he had a minor hide leg injury do to a barb wire fence. The injury doesn't seem to hold him back any, likes to go run, play and acts like a cutting horse with the other horses.. With proper hoof care he is doing great. I would recommend a lighter rider then me (I'm a bigger gal)
