Rose breasted cockatoo male 11-12 yrs old. A very special companion bird who loves attention but is not over demanding. He likes men or women and steps up for total strangers. He had a plucking issue before I took him in and he still pulls a feather or two here and there. I own other birds and this environment is just too active and noisy for him. He's frightened of the other birds here and would do best as a single bird in a quieter environment. He's been with me for three years so I know his personality extremely well. I'm looking for the best home for him and will be very selective to who he is placed with. He talks very little, loves having his head scratched and sitting in the same room on a stand with you. His cage is not included but will give his cage accessories with him. Only a forever home need apply.... no breeders, no shipping. Please do your research on this species of cockatoo.
Even though he has plucked areas you will see he is still a very beautiful bird and is very charming. The attached photo was taken this August 09.
