In the 1950s, TAG Heuer hosted an epic race called the Carrera Panamericana, a regal race of the time. To celebrate the event, they released this extraordinary line of watches. This TAG Heuer #CV2116.FC6180 midsize diamond Carrera does the whole tradition proud, with a dazzling display of 70 diamonds on its stainless steel bezel. To fill out the rich design, the dial is mother of pearl, with elegant white lines for indexes and a date calendar at the six o'clock position. The hands and indexes are luminescent, as are the hands and indexes of the two chronograph sub-dials. The 39-millimeter case is stainless steel. The band is black leather. The watch has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and features winding, automatic movement. It is water resistant to 30 meters (99 feet).
