Dual Handles - The two-handle design on a single-piston machine lets you harness the power from both arms into a single stroke. The dual-jointed arms let each arm take the most comfortable path of motion. The angle on the arms eases wrist and hand strain, and padded grips keep hands comfortable.
Molded Seat - The molded plastic seat keeps is comfortable enough for short to moderate rows. If you see yourself using this for long or frequent rows, you may want to look for a padded seat.
Footrest - Dual footrests are made to accommodate any size foot with an integrated heel cup and durable, adjustable strap.
Resistance Adjustment - The gas-shock piston resistance is adjustable by twisting the adjustment knob at the top of the shocks. With 12 resistance settings, it is easy to customize your workouts and increase resistance as your fitness level progresses. CAUTION: The shocks get HOT after a few minutes of use, so be sure to let them cool down before adjusting to a new resistance level.
Resistance Type - The Piston models are the smallest and least expensive options. They provide a great intro to rowing and its benefits without making a lot of demands on your space or budget. They're compact and quiet, perfect for those getting started in rowing. Their frames, however, are often too small for taller users, and their rowing simulation is least like the real thing.
Storage - Both joints have a release and re-lock so that the arms fold in for extremely compact storage, whether vertical or horizontal. Ideal for sliding under a bed or tucking into a closet.
Outrigger Design - Outrigger design allows for a unique, oar-like rowing feel. Dual-jointed arms allow for a full-range-of-motion row, with a circular movement simulates very closely the actual process of rowing on water.
Sturdy Steel Frame - The steel frame along with a precision aluminum I-beam holds users up to 250 lbs despite a compact, lightweight frame.
