We Are Every Astrology Sign Rolled Into One

Most people tend to think of the Zodiac Signs (or Sun Signs) when they think of astrology. For instance, you might say something like, I am a Leo and my boyfriend is a Libra.

While this may be true due to the Sun being in a certain astrology sign when both of you were born, this information (or lack thereof) has caused an unfortunate misunderstanding of purpose of astrology.

Astrology is not really about lumping people into 12 different groups based upon their personality traits.

Sadly, most people have this limited concept in mind when they read about it in the newspapers or magazines because that is exactly how it is presented to them. Therefore, it is quite understandable why most people fall into that way of thinking.

Each zodiac sign represents distinctly different areas of our personality. There is no person on this planet who is strictly a Sagittarius or an Aquarius. If there were, that person would be pretty one-dimensional.

The truth, however, is that every one of us is a collection of all 12 astrology signs. The catch is that there will be a few zodiac signs in our astrology birth chart that will be stronger than others, but the others still exist within us.

Your Sun Sign is really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to your astrology birth chart.

If, for example, you were born on April 01, 1975, your Sun would reside in the zodiac sign of Aries>, but that still does not account for the other 9 planetary forces in your astrology birth chart (Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto). So let us say that you have several planets in Virgo and a few in Taurus.

The Virgo and Taurus planets would have you valuing nice safe scenarios in your career. You would feel a need to have jobs that were predictable and a job security outlook that was rock solid, but since you have your Sun in Aries; your style of growing in your life should be in a distinctly Arian way.

You will feel most alive when you are risking it all and laying it all on the line even though part of you deeply fears that.

Therefore, your wisest choice of action in life is to choose work that feeds your sense of adventure and requires genuine acts of courage and resolve. In effect, you would need to choose work that feeds your soul and, with an Arian Sun, you need to be in a career where you can blaze new trails.

Well, what happened to the Taurus and Virgo energy? Well, that energy is still there, but if you are going to use it well then it needs to be used in the service of your Sun Sign.

In this case, the Taurus and Virgo energy would give you the amazing common sense, practicality, and work-ethic to achieve the goals of the Arian Sun. Regardless of whether that takes the form of starting your own business enterprise or starting a mountain climbing expedition, you will now be in synch with yourself instead of at odds with yourself.

The main lesson in this example is that your personal story is not completely told until you take a much closer look at the other forces at work in your birth chart. Knowing that your Sun is in a certain zodiac sign is very important, but, truthfully, it is really only the very beginning of the story that is uniquely yours.

It is sort of like trying to read an article with only the headline and a couple of sentences being present. How would you know the details of the story? Well, you would not because the story is being presented with just one broad brush stroke and very few details. The rest is left to your imagination.

In astrology, the details of the story are located in the planets in the astrological signs in the astrology houses. Presented together as a whole, you finally have the complete story of the magnificent if not complex person that is you!

So as you can see, all of the planetary forces work together to make you who you are. Keep in mind, though, that each planet will most likely occupy a different sign than your Zodiac Sun Sign.

All of the astrological signs play an important part in your psychological make-up. However, some zodiac signs in your personal birth chart will really stand apart from the rest.
