Entry into the main house is via the inner garden. Fitted equipped
kitchen, with oak work bench and doors to garden and great views over
the pool and Ventoux; beautiful dining room with fireplace and doors to
garden; wc; double bedroom with fitted cupboards, ensuite bathroom with
bathtub and shower and wc and access to garden.
Stairs from the dining room lead up to a beautiful lounge with wood
stove and views over the surrounding countryside as far as the Ventoux;
a small bedroom that would be ideal for an office; full bathroom with
shower and wc; another double bedroom with access to garden; large
landing; spacious dressing room; bathroom with wc; another double
bedroom with parquet floors and independant access to garden and also a
spacious bright mezzanine area.
Most of the main rooms in the house have beamed ceilings and old stone floors. All of the window lintels are in oak.
The inner courtyard garden is a dream - there is a small water feature
in the centre and many flowering bushes and plants; there is shade in
the summer and it offers a wonderful area to sit and relax in those
lazy summer days.
There is a large boiler/laundry room with double sinks.
This is a wonderful property for someone wishing true provencal authenticity whilst having all the comforts.
This lovely comfortable, warm, cosy farmhouse is situated 5 kms from
the village of Bonnieux, in a small hamlet with just 3 other houses.
There are stunning views of the Mont Ventoux from most areas of the
house and whilst not isolated, it offers a peaceful and tranquil
setting. I visited this house in winter and already I fell in love with
it so I can only imagine how magical it would be in spring and summer.
There are lots of olive and fruit trees.
The pool is approx 12.75 x 4 and has a small poolhouse, hot and cold shower, and views to die for from the pool terracing.
Attached to the main house are 2 independant bedrooms, both with open
beams, ensuite bathrooms, wc, and one of them also has a spacious
lounge area and both give out onto the inner courtyard garden.
