Set in a long sloping valley, inclined towards the south and looking out over the Mediterranean, Casa de La Colina (House on the Hill) is a substantial and spacious 3 bedroom 'ranch' style house with private pool in one of the best residential areas of Nerja. To the North, are the majestic peaks of the Sierra Almijara mountains.
The overall feeling is of harmony, with green valleys, rugged mountains and white-washed Moorish style villas. Located just above the Burriana Beach and a 12 - 15 minute walk to the centre of Nerja, this is the peaceful setting for Casa de La Colina.
Entering the villa at 1st floor level there is a very large open plan and double aspect salon area with satellite TV leading to a well equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher. On this level there is a double bedroom (single beds) and a shower room with WC, handwash basin and bidet. There are two large terraces accessed from this main floor; one very large one facing south and another overlooking the valley and towards the mountains in the north.
A spiral staircase leads down to two further large bedrooms. The master bedroom being equipped with double bed and spacious ensuite bathroom with large sunken corner bath, double vanity unit, WC and bidet. The second bedroom at this lower level has twin beds. Both of these bedrooms lead directly out through large French Windows on to another sun terrace and the private pool. There is a small utility room housing a washing machine.
There are marble floors throughout and attention to detail of design is characterised by the use of striking olive wood for skirting boards and hand rails.
The house has a mature garden and a purpose built BBQ and bar area at the level of the pool.
