1951 FORD TRUCK CUSTOM STREET ROD HOT ROD RAT ROD
this is a very nice 51 ford truck with a 302 v8, auto aod overdrive and late model ford rear. it does have air which is hooked up and the compressor comes on but it does not blow cold. the strong point of this truck is it’s body. it is as good and straight as i have ever seen and the paint is very nice with only a few very small chips. it has had the glass replaced with lightly tinted glass and looks good. the bed and tailgate are also very straight and the wood in the bed has been replaced when truck was done. all the lights and turn signals work properly as do the gauges except for the speedo which i think needs a cable which i “may” have. the radio works but is just a cheap radio. the only other problem i know that needs attention is the brakes. they are power and stop great but they will pull to one side when appling the brake hard. it has a great engine,tran., and rear and drives down the interstate easily at 70-80 mph. i drove this truck about 300 miles a couple of weeks ago without any problems at all. you can drive it home but you would need to be careful with the brake pull in a hard stop and it is a old vehicle. this truck is being sold as is with no expressed warranty of any kind. i would encourage anyone interested to come by and inspect the truck before you buy it and you will not waste your time or be disapointed because it is as good as it looks. please call me with any questions before you bid and if i have not described the truck accurately or you don’t like it when you come to pick it up you don’t have to take it.
