He accomplished this, with a very cool Hydroplane Model.
The old English record was 26.7 MPH and this model made a considerable showing in excess of 30 MPH. A FAST model for the time!
The hull of this record-breaking hydroplane is 39 inches and the beam is over 7 inches. This is a large model and will be a true thrill to run! It operates on a flash boiler and twin-cylinder high speed steam engine. The hull took many attempts to perfect, and it appears that it was.
