The Rabbit Trick - Making a rabbit appear from a magic hat, switching it with an egg, and back again through use of magic traps and some sleight of hand techniques. This goes into several versions of how to create this illusion using different props and having the rabbit or rabbits appear, disappear and even turn to dust. Freaky stuff.
The Fairy Star - The magician receives 6 cards chosen from a deck, aims a gun at the star and the cards appear to be attached to wires protruding from the star. This apparatus looks so convincing, but it's all just a simple illusion.
The Card Bouquet - Similar in execution to the above trick, only the cards appear to blossom out of a bunch of pretty flowers in a vase or basket.
The Demon's Head - A large and effective piece of equipment. An automata type trick that requires a little bit of imagination and some simple mechanics to make the head blink and speak as the magician demands.
The Magic Picture Frame - The magician borrows items from the audience, his assistant brings his magic pistol and a magic picture frame on a pedestal. A little diversion, a shot from the pistol and the items appear inside the picture frame across the room.
The Magic Picture And The Chosen Cards - The magician allows three cards to be chosen from an ordinary deck then by magic makes them appear under the glass in front of the picture.
The Magic Portfolio - The magician brings a large portfolio on stage, places it on a stand or trestle, then brings out papers. Then some lady's bonnets then a large bird cage full of birds, finally three brass stew pans, one with beans, one with water, one full of fire. A suprisingly simple trick to perform.
The Glove Column - A ring and glove trick that requires borrowing rings from the audience, they're magically made to appear on the strangely full of nothing glove. A tricky trick!
The Vanishing Handkerchief - A nifty trick in which the magician borrows a handkerchief and through a little help from a special kind of table, is able to make it disappear and reappear in a candle.
The Sphinx - A real hoot with the magic show audience at the time of writing, this automata sphinx head talks and responds to commands given by the magician.
The Cabinet Of Proteus - An adaptation of the sphinx illusion above. A large cabinet that appears to be empty upon inspection. Then, with audience members watching closely, the magician makes things appear and disappear from the box.
The Indian Basket Trick - A pretty assistant, a magic box and a sword. Sound a bit scary? Not at all. A simple trick that will fool your audience into thinking your assitant disappeared.
Electrical Tricks - Some of the most mysterious of the stage tricks are performed by means of electricity, or to speak more correctly, of electro-magnetism.
The Light & Heavy Chest - A small box is brought out, a strong male volunteer is asked if he can lift it. Of course, it weighs next to nothing. However, with a wave of his wand or a few words, the magician can make this small, light box impossible to lift.
Spirit-Rapping - A great psychic parlor trick in which the magician contacts the spirit world and is able to receive communications from that world in the form of rapping on the table. Spooky!
The Magic Bell - Another cool little trick along the same lines as the Spirit-Rapping trick. This time, a bell sounds as an idicator of any number of answers to questions.
The Crystal Cash-Box - A mahogany box with glass top and bottom, with velvet lining the wooden parts. The magician borrows money from the audience and makes it appear and disappear from this amazing little box.
The Magic Drum - Suspended from the ceiling, this amazing magic drum raps a single sound or any number, keeping time with music for example. Can be used to divine the answers to questions as well.
The Aerial Suspension - You've seen the magician appear to make a person float in air, only resting her head the back of a chair or post of some sort, perhaps even a cane. A mysterious, yet easy to accomplish trick that will get a ton of attention.
