1940 Ford Other Pickups hot rod1940 Ford hot rod truck.this is a fresh built rod with only 1000 miles
on it.it has a 327 chevy V8 and a th350 trans. with shift kit.the frame
is a 1947 ford car frame that has been shortened 10" and boxed.the rear
end is a 1966 chevy 12 bolt with 3:42 gears.the cab has been chopped 6"
and channeled 8". the grill is from a 1936 ford truck. the rear bed is
1953 ford and is shortened 15"and has a 1950 tailgate.the front has a
magnum 4" drop i beam with new spindles and disc brakes.the brakes are
all new and feature a dual master cylinder.steering is handled by a
1947 ford car steering box and column topped by a 1965 caddiliac
steering wheel .the seats are new boat seats.gages all work except the
gas gauge needs a new sender.the gas tank is a 1967 ford bronco
unit.the windshield and rear window are new. the doors do not have
glass yet,it could be done in the future.the rims and tires are new and
feature U.S.wheel chrome smoothies with 205/R15 front and hurst cheeter
slicks on the back.the truck is registered and i have been driving
it.it goes quite well in fact.it does not have a title maine does not
require one for a vehicle this old.it will be sold as is with bill of
sale.there is no warranty expressed or implied.shipping is the
responsiblity of the buyer.a nonrefundable $2000.00 down payment via
paypal will be expected at the end of the auction.the balance will be
made by wire transfer or cash on pickup of the vehicle.the truck will
