I breezed through the brightly lit entry way at my local dep. store. It appeared like everyone I knew had their birthday the same month, which appeared to leave me bankrupt. Although I loved shopping for others and seeing their faces when they opened my gifts, I was not sure ways to afford everything I required. As I numbingly browsed through the racks of garments and accessories, someone softly tapped me on my shoulder. An older woman dressed to the nines stood next to me. She noiselessly fished through her leather skinned purse and pulled out several pieces of paper. Without a word, she passed me the papers, smiled, and then walked away. As I was thinking how odd this girl was, I peeked down at the papers and saw several Macy's coupons piled together. Was this woman for real? I had never shopped at Macy's office store for fear of the prices. When you believe Macy's, you believe quality. Quality is something my college salary usually couldn't afford. However, the Macy's coupons I now held were amazing! I hurried out of the building and drove straight to the closest Macy's. I practically tore the door down while making an attempt to see what this new shopping experience held for me. A look of confusion painted itself across my face as I saw the prices displayed on every item. These costs were not bad at all! In reality, they were quite akin to the costs at the bargain store down the road. As I made my way through the two levels of the store, I looked to discover more great gifts. Before I knew it I was through my list and prepared to check out. Though I was a bit nervous at what the final ticket price would be for this large quantity of gifts, I was excited I had the Macy's coupons to use towards them. As the clerk rang up my purchases, she mentioned that I could save another 10 percent by opening a Macy's Credit card account. I cringed at the sound of the words card. I didn't need another Visa card, but that ten p.c would really come in handy on top of my savings from the Macy's coupons I made the choice to go ahead with it, but walk straight over to client service and clear it. I suspect that credit cards are definitely smart when used in the right way. Surprisingly enough, the total for my afternoon of shopping blew me away! Thanks to some timely Macy's coupons and the extra ten % off on top of that, I essentially did not spend anywhere near my budget I had set aside. I learned something very valuable that day. High quality shopping is for everybody. Regardless of what income level you are at, with a bit of help from programs like ">Macy's coupons, you can get what you need for a fantastic price.
