Cultural Homestay International is currently seeking volunteer host families for the 2009-2010 school year.
CHI host families are the backbone of the CHI Academic Year Program (AYP). By volunteering and opening your home and heart to the world's young people, you are donating to them an uncommon gift: an offer of friendship, a willingness to share themselves and their way of life, and a genuine interest in learning about culture and customs.
CHI host families are special people of extraordinary goodwill and generous spirit. Host families enjoy teenagers and are willing to treat their exchange student as a member of the family.
CHI host families are:
-Usually very busy and involved people - tolerant, flexible, supportive and caring:
-A broad and diverse cross-section of American society:
-Willing to provide the international high school student with room and board:
-Enthusiastic ambassadors of America ready to share a unique year of fun and learning:
-Willing to make a difference in their own family, their community, their country, and ultimately, the world.
