I used it for my wedding on the beach and all my guest were floored about how great the sound was and how clear they can hear us reading our vows with the microphone. You will be very happy with this purchased I have use it everywhere I go...one bad thing is the white will get dirty but it doesn't matter the important thing is the sound reminds in pristen in shape from all the use!!!! I have had it for approx. 1 year and the battery will not charge anymore. I was told by the manufacturer to send it in to a local repair shop at my own expense. It performs well and is the life of most parties. I recently ordered a second one for my mother. When I received it, it was defective. It would not hold or receive a charge and would only work when plugged in. I returned it and received a replacement unit. The replacement unit is working great. Although I was disappointed the unit did not work, the process of receiving the replacement unit and returning the defective unit was simple and painless. Thanks Amazon.com!
