The hull is constructed using plank on frame method and each strip of exotic wood are carefully joined together to form a smooth hull. Completed models contain thousands of details created by our skillful master craftsmen. Chrome and Brass Fittings and Ornaments constitute the excellence of our models. Metal parts and details are bronzed, gold tone or chrome plated and the wood is either finely painted or has varnished finishes. You can easily locate wooden parts and ornaments such as: wooden mast, wooden boom, wooden bunkers, fabric sails and detailed stitching, wooden poles and metal steering, and long metal side rails. More amazing components are the wooden bowsprit, foremast, mainmast and mizzen mast. They are all connected to numerous fabric sails with detailed stitching , all rigging are painstakingly fastened by hand in matching colors. The lines on our ships are working lines. They can be tightened and loosened. We only use high quality wood and metal, absolutely no plastic parts. Extensive research through original plans and pictures make our models authentic. Each model goes through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.
