Customer Reviews A Step Down From an Earlier Model by .. Daniel F. Moore (Yarmouth, Maine USA) I own an earlier model of the Weston Burger Express and I really like it but I thought that the spring-loaded release would be an improvement. Perhaps it is 'improved', but the fault of this model lies in the adjustment screw. The earlier model has the burger size (1/4", 3/8" etc) stamped on the inside post; the new one does not include this feature. That is too bad as this was a very helpful feature but I guess the design folks took that out for the sake of the 'improvement'. This one will be going back....
Ostensibly Mechanical by .. Jerry Gaspard (Hooks, Texas) The device is a press-and-release burger-patty maker which requires you to screw it (up or down), by hand, to adjust the size of the meat-patty. The Teflon coating does not seem to prevent the meat from sticking to the sides. It is best if you wet the outside of the meat-ball with cold water before shaping it.
