Customer Reviews How can a spoon get one star? by .. Gabriel Weatherhead () Really? One star? If the spoon can get food in a hungry baby then it should at least get 3 stars. Our baby loves these spoons. They hold enough to finish a meal in a reasonable number of bites, but not so much that she spits half of it back out. She also loves to hold the rubberized grip herself and chew on the spoon.
love 'em by .. library affiliates (boston, ma) my 6 mos old loves her spoons - and the bonus is that she gnaws on them in every direction like a teether, though she hasn't sprouted any teeth yet. she easily grabs them and puts them in her mouth in both directions. the spoon head is a little wide, but is fine, and she is still learning the eating thing so, i'm sure this will not make any difference soon.
Great Toddler Spoons! by .. Robby's Mom (Arizona) These spoons are well balanced, nicely shaped, and easy for my 1 year old to use. The white "spoon" part is quite thin, but sturdy, so it is easy for him to stick in his mouth and get all the food. The chubby handles are rubberized and easy to grip, plus the eyes make them cute and fun. The only downside is they are a little expensive, but worth the price I think!
Good little spoon. by .. R. Jackson (Vienna, VA) This is a good spoon. Durable and easy to clean. My only issue with it, is that the contour of the spoon itself is a little high. Babies are not like adults that know how to use their lips to take stuff off the spoon. It should be a little flatter so the food slides right off once in their mouth. This spoon is good for bigger kids, because babies also do not need that much food in their mouth based on the deep design of the food.
The best we have found by .. Linda P (Phoenix, AZ) I purchased these spoons for my granddaughter who at age 12-13 months wanted to feed herself but did not have the dexterity to manage this task. With help to load the spoon, she was able to get it to her mouth without losing the food, big smiles followed. Now at 16 months she can self-feed, which makes her happy and gives Mom a break. Even foods like her breakfast O's and rice can be easily scooped with these well-designed utensils. The handles are slightly textured, rubbery, and thick, perfect for little hands to grip. These are well worth the cost, highly recommended.
