Item : B0009P633E Customer Reviews Heavy duty well made non-stick pan set by .. trp (Hope Valley, Rhode Island) When we moved into our new house two years ago we took the plunge and got rid of all of our beaten up and not very good quality to begin with pots and pans. We purchased these Circulon non stick pans because of the quality of the brand and the fact that this set is in the sizes we use most often. We've used them regularly for the past two years and have had no problems with them: they are heavy so they hold and distribute cooking heat evenly without "hot spots". There has been no degradation to the nonstick coating (remember how the coating in the original teflon pans would flake after a while?) The thing to remember as with all nonstick pans is to use wooden or silicone utensils to cook with, because metal will scratch the coating. We wash the pans with the "blue" Scotch pad sponges, which will not scratch nonstick surfaces or ceramic stovetops, and dishwashing liquid -- no dishwasher. If you stack these pans, put a paper plate or a papertowel between them so that the coating won't be scratched. They are definitely a great value for the money and will last a long, long time. Circulon non-stick skillet twin pack by .. K. Chen () Overall these are nice sturdy deep pans with a better than average capacity due to the depth. The non-stick coating works well. My only complaint, as with others, is that the handle weighs more than the pan causing the pan, when empty, to tip in the direction of the handle. This may be a safety hazard for some. Once food has been added to the pan, it's not a problem, but if you are heating oil in the pan prior to sauteing, you should exercise caution to avoid spills or burns. It would also be nice if Circulon offered optional lids for these pans - in a pinch, a universal lid works. Great Nonstick lining by .. J. A. Guevara (Houston, TX) When buying skillets, the most important factor for me is the quality of the nonstick lining. These skillets have very good nonstick lining that does not chip off when cleaned. These will last me a long time. Don't forget to wipe with oil before first use and to only use low to medium heat settings! Grrrrrreat Skillets. by ..
