I read about the handle being too heavy and making the pan tip if the lid wasn't on it. I am not seeing that problem with mine. USA) This is without a doubt the best non-stick skilled I have used. Great heat retention, handle is comfortable, lid is extremely heavy. Just an over-all solid pan. Good heavy weight construction. Ridges in bottom of skillet are fantastic. I was reluctant to try it because of the silicone grip handle, but I am glad I gave it a try. Circulon Elite wins my loyalty with this one. D P Cerrito () As I wrote above, this is hands down the best skillet I have ever owned. I don't normally about the quality of my skillet when cooking food, except on Saturday mornings when I make pancakes. On my old Teflon and stainless steal skillets I would have to pour a lot of oil in the pan and still scrape the pancake from the pan before flipping. With this Hard-Anodized skillet I only need a small drop of oil and the spatula just slides under the pancake for an easy quick flip! It has also made preparing other food easier and had made my food taste better, due to the reduction of oil I use. Don't hesitate, get one! Circulon Elite skillet is great by .. Jo (Nebraska) I purchased this skillet as a gift for my daughter. She was discouraged with skillets that advertised non-stick and then the coating came off in the food or after multiple washings. She has been very impressed with this skillet - it's big and deep and the "nonstick" works and seems to be very tough and a part of the pan, not just a coating.
