True enough- it isn't intended for lumpier foods, but for cereal or jarred fruits and veggies, it works really, really well. Worth the money. Skinner (Muncie, IN) I absolutely LOVE this thing! I thought it would be one of those "didn't need it, can't believe I bought it" things. But now I wouldn't be without it! I can feed him with one hand ANYWHERE! So much less messy and my nephews love taking turns feeding Ayden. I'm not on stage 3 foods yet, but will be sad to see it go. An interchangable top would be nice. I use store bought foods and all I do is leave a cup out to sit the spoon in sitting up and pour the food right in. Put the lid on and off we go. I actually just sit him on my lap alot and feed him right there with a towel handy to wipe his mouth periodically. We barely need that it's so efficient. I can fit 4oz in it, and sometimes it's hard to get every last drop if it's thicker food, but not even a small problem to me. Every new mommy needs this!!!
