It comes tightly packed in a box that didnt take up much room at all in my suitcase. It was easy to put her in, the roof folds back. Did a pretty fair job of shading her from the sun. S. Lowry (CA United States) This starfish float provides sun shade.The front of the shade velcros on so you could fold it back if you didn't need it. Its meant for small babies and only submerges their legs and butt so you don't have to worry about holding them like floats with deep seats(which defeats the purpose of using a float). The surrounding star prevents them from being able to grasp the hot pool ledge. My daughter loved the built in toy that she could suck on and it sqeaks with pressure. The price is right! I do not know how durable this thing is, but seems to be OK after a couple of weeks of use.
