To introduce the new Euro coins the Dutch government gave a Euro Welcome Kit to each of its adult citizens. The kit includes all eight of the Euro coins, from 1 Euro Cent to 2 Euros, mounted on a card. Mintage years of the coins in each particular kit vary; mintage years vary between 1999 through 2001. The kit includes the specifications of each of the coins and illustrations of the new Euro currency notes are on the back. Kit is about 6" x 6". Photo shows 2 kits, front of one and back of another. Paper currency illustrated on back is NOT INCLUDED in the kit.
The kits were limited to only one per Netherlands adult, and many people broke up and spent their Welcome Kit, making them now a hard-to-find item. Our supply of this Kit is limited.
